Curriculum Overview

At St Gabriel's 'we believe that every child is unique and we nurture each child though a creative and rounded curriculum to reach their full potential'. We aim to do this by providing quality first teaching allowing our children to develop their knowledge and skills to face the life experiences before them. We want our pupils to contribute to, and be excellent role models in society.

The Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and the National Curriculum determine what should be taught and apply to all state schools in England and Wales.

The National Curriculum is divided into two Key Stages in primary schools.

Key Stage 1:   Years 1 & 2
