Japanese Day

Lesson: Geography

Class: Year 2 Year: 2015 - 2016

Year 2 enjoyed a fun-filled Japanese Day to celebrate the end of our topic.  We had such a busy day making kimonos, writing our names in Japanese script, counting to 10, eating Japanese food with chopsticks, visiting our class sushi bar where children 'created' plates of sushi and we even experienced an earthquake drill, just like our Japanese friends would do at school.

The children looked amazing - thank you so much for taking the time to provide your children with their fantastic costumes.

Special thanks also goes to Mrs Cliffe for her creative expertise in origami!

We hope you enjoy looking at a snapshot of our day!
