Liverpool Trip 2016

Lesson: Geography

Class: Year 4 Year: 2015 - 2016

The sun shone down on us as we enjoyed a wonderful day. First we explored the Museum of Liverpool to learn more about the history of this fascinating city. After lunch Y4 were very excited to board the famous "Ferry 'cross the Mersey" from which they could see the great historic buildings of Liverpool so clearly. This was followed by a very informative guided walking tour of the Albert Dock. The children even had their photo taken with the Beatles - not the real ones of course!

Finally a guided coach tour of the rest of the city ended up at the Anglican Cathedral and a quick peek inside. The children were amazed at the vastness of the cathedral. It was a great end to a really fun-packed and educational day.Thank-you to all the helpers who came along and made the day go so smoothly.
