Open Morning

St Gabriel's Catholic Pre-School will hold an open morning on Saturday 20 April from 9-11am.


All Welcome! Come and have a look around and meet the staff.


A further open morning will take place on Wednesday 1 May from 9:15 in the school.

Year 5 visit the Potteries Musem

Lesson: History

Class: Year 5 Year: 2015 - 2016

We had a fantastic time visiting The Potteries Museum and learning more about Anglo-Saxon life.  We learned all about The Staffordshire Hoard and got chance to look at a selection of the 3500 artefacts that were discovered in 2009.  We also got to make Anglo-Saxon helmets and take part in a game where we had to pretend to be Anglo-Saxon villagers and make important decisions that would affect the fate of our village.  Unfortunately things didn't turn out too well for us, so we were glad to return to the 21st century at the end of the day!!
