I hope you had a lovely Christmas. Because of the snow, you are learning from home today. I am really looking forward to seeing you back at school tomorrow and hearing all about your snow adventures.

Here are some optional activities you can try today. You do not have to do them all — just have a go if you want to.

Maths

There are some worksheets about money and coins.
Choose the one you think is right for you and do your best.

English

Have a go at the snow poem.

Think about:

• How does the snow make you feel?
• What can you see?
• What can you hear?
• What can you feel?

When you finish, check your work for:

• Capital letters
• Full stops
• Finger spaces

Geography

Exploring the Polar Regions and the Equator

• Watch the videos
• Read the facts
• Try the quizzes

Then make a fact list about what you have learned.
You can write bullet points or draw pictures to help explain your facts.
